The debut album features 10 punishing and sonically aesthetic tracks engineered and produced by Andy Abel and Lyris Hung at Abel Studios in Connecticut, with vocals tracked and produced by Ryan Kelly at MSR Studios and Nova Studios in New York City.

To pre-order the self-title debut album from HUNG along with a bundled t-shirt and poster head to http://www.theomegaorder.com/
HUNG violinist Lyris Hung says about Progeny “The song ‘Progeny’ is one of HUNG’s most sonically diverse pieces, and one that shows off some of our most lyrical material. It’s one of my personal favorites because it travels through many different musical landscapes… My approach to the violin lines are more traditional in a ‘violinistic’ way, allowing the instrument to take a lot of sweeping parts above the rest of the band and even the rhythm violin parts tend to be integrated with melody.”
HUNG is also proud to announce May 3rd as the date for the record release show and party at The Trash Bar in Brooklyn NY. Tickets are $15 at the door and include a free CD and T-Shirt. Doors open at 7:00pm with an open bar from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
HUNG is a five piece metal band from New York City featuring Lyris Hung (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bryan Adams) on violin, ‘Evil’ Jon Clark on guitar, bassist Sam Roon, drummer Kenny Grohowski and singer Dmitry Kostitsyn. The band is gearing up for the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival as a main stage performer this year.

To say that I thought that I would still be working with this pipe dream known as Cibrano Media today a year ago would be a complete lie. I cannot thank everyone out there enough for supporting me in my efforts to help bring a new generation of music to the people of all musical tastes and backgrounds. Today marks a milestone in the short history of Cibrano Media, one that I am incredibly proud of and one that will stand out in what I know will not be the last.
To my artists: Thank you so much for trusting me to handle your artform and for allowing me into your families as either your publicist, your manager or both. I truly am blessed to have a roster of outstanding and creative musicians who believe in me just as much as I believe in them. The future is extremely bright for all of us and my success is only a reflection of how great all of you are.
To my family and friends: Without your endless support and constant words of encouragement I would not have even thought about opening up and starting my own company. I work tirelessly everyday to make all of you proud to say that I am your friend or loved one. For every Facebook like, for every retweet and for putting up with my email blasts I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To my supporters: You guys are the driving force behind everything that I try to achieve on a daily basis with Cibrano Media. Thank you so much for helping me perpetuate the art of artists who I believe are destined to make waves in this sometime incredibly shallow industry. For every interview, review, song premiere, video shoot, music video debut and coverage you’ve provided for my artists and have pushed to the masses I am eternally grateful.
I am incredibly lucky that I get to wake up every morning and know that I love what I do. I never started this company to make money or just to say “yeah, I work in the music industry”, I started it to help artists perpetuate their art, to help people who depend on music as a source of income to continue to live their dreams. I will never forget where I came from and who was there to help me in the beginning. All of you are incredible and I thank you once again from the bottom of my heart.
Yours Truly,
Paul Cibrano
Hardcore veterans Biohazard have chosen Travis Campbell’s video for “Vengeance Is Mine” as the grand prize winner of their music video contest. Using their Facebook page, the band challenged fans to create their own music video for a track off of their new album REBORN IN DEFIANCE. Submissions were uploaded to Youtube, and the band unanimously agreed on Travis’ entry as the first official video for REBORN IN DEFIANCE.
Vocalist / guitarist Billy Graziadei says, “Without the help of extra footage, Travis took some classic imagery from our previous videos and made it all work for Vengeance is Mine… pure awesomeness! Be on the lookout for some great things to come from him! “
The winning video consists of clips from the band’s music videos from previous years cleverly synched so they appear to be performing the new song, “Vengeance Is Mine”, interspersed with footage of social strife throughout history.
Travis explains, “I have been a Biohazard fan since the early 90s and have always been influenced by their videos and social commentary and wanted to show my respect and appreciation for a band that has helped me get through some rough times throughout the years. I started watching all the old Bio vids and got the idea of taking all the material and cutting it in a new way and adding in civil unrest footage from Occupy Wall Street, the Civil Rights Era, and other events like Bloody Sunday. The hardest part was getting the synch right, having Billy from 1994 singing to a phrase in 2012 proved quite challenging! In the end I am proud of the video and I am elated that Biohazard likes it as well.”
Travis will be rewarded with the “DFL Grand Prize”, which guarantees him free Biohazard tickets and AAA passes for himself and a friend to all Biohazard shows, for life. First runner up Randy Memoli (“Reborn”) and second runner up Kareem Girgis (Come Alive) will each receive a ticket to all Biohazard shows for life.
Billy adds, “We got a lot of great submissions that all rocked! Thank you to everyone who spent their time and talent on making their own great videos, DFL forever!”
